The City in Film Award will distinguish the best films related to urban issues. It can be fiction or documentary, a short or a long feature. We are looking for films that relate to the city, where the city plays a relevant role in the mood, theme or narrative of the film.
All genres and durations are welcome.
The 4 selected films will be screened live and the best film awarded in July 2021, right in the heart of historical Lisbon, in the mystical Alfama.

Welcome to the Indie Chicks International Film Festival. We are a film festival created by female Indie Filmmakers for female Indie Filmmakers we do however encourage all filmmakers of all genders to submit for we are seeking a diverse multi racial multi gendered screening event. This year we will be at LA LIVE and screening great indie films on the big stage!
Our festival will include film screenings, Q&A talks from directors, networking opportunities and visiting distribution representatives.
We are currently seeking films produced, written or directed by women of all ages.
Feature and Short narrative and documentary films, Webisodes, Scripts and music videos are accepted. We look forward to seeing your film so show us what you got!
The second Festival Internacional de Curtmetratges de la Bisbal d’Empordà will take place on August 3 – 5, 2017 at Torre Maria gardens.
After almost 2.500 submissions from more than 100 countries and about 600 total viewers in the last edition, FIC.BiE will continue on working to keep film activities in la Bisbal d’Empordà.
This year will consist in two different sections: one will be the international section and the second one will be the one with specific production from Girona “GiCurts”.
Short films selected on both sections will also participate in a poster design contest. The exhibition will be available weeks before the event will take place and will be placed in an indoor location of la Bisbal (to be determined).
On 2016 we also organised some workshops for high schools of the village and we collaborated with the women’s collective, organising a micro short film contest against gender violence.
Among the most important Italian art film festivals, TOHORROR FILM FEST starts from cinema and then explores all possible means of communication, with the purpose of analysing contemporary society through the deforming lenses provided by the fantastic and horror culture. Thus, through the young authors’ videos and the films made by more expert directors, the meetings, the theatrical performances, the concerts, the art and comics exhibitions, we are enabled to to interpret reality, filtering it through a most wild imagination.
The eighth edition of the Kingdom of León Film and Television Festival, hereinafter LECYT, will take place in the city of León, in the month of July 2021.
LECYT, is a project created and organized by the Leonesa Seventh Art Association. And thanks to which it contributes to the development and dissemination of cinematographic culture in the city of León, on an annual basis.
All the films that are registered in the call for the 8th edition of LECYT will first be reviewed, to see if they meet the requirements that we establish in the bases.
If this first filter is passed, they will be viewed and / or analyzed by the Selection Committee, made up of a joint team of professionals and specialists in the world of audiovisual arts, cinema and audiovisual production. And in which the Festival management is also represented.

Since 2015, the year of its foundation, the festival has stood out for the quality and social value of the selected works.
In ten editions we have selected and screened 221 works from 70 countries and awarded 250 prizes!
By promoting independent cinema from all over the world we have received works starring world-famous actors such as Salvatore Esposito (Gomorra, Fargo), Denis Lavant (Holy Motors, Tokyo!).
In the 2021 edition we had the honor of awarding the actor Giuseppe Fiorello in his latest film "L'afide e la formica", winner of the award for best feature film.
Over the years we boast of having successfully promoted dozens of independent documentaries, which have been a real window on the world for us.

Roca Film Festival is a non-profit cultural project held annually in the parish of Roca, Guitiriz, Lugo, Spain. Organized by Xermolos Cultural Association, this small-format musical film festival reaches its XII edition in 2025.

Bašta Fest is an international short fiction film festival held in Bajina Bašta, Western Serbia. It is an annual event that is taking place during the first weekend of July and it lasts for four days. Due to the profession of the founders (actors Jovan Jelisavčić and Maja Šuša), the festival's main point of interest is a collaboration between directors and actors. We believe that focusing on the quality of that joint artistic effort will have a positive impact on the positioning of Bašta Fest among short film festivals. Bašta Fest is of great importance for the decentralization of culture since it has brought diverse film, music and off program to this beautiful region. One of the priorities of the festival is to promote the incredible natural beauty to a large number of visitors. Nevertheless, our primary goal is to convert this festival into an exciting cultural oasis, which supports local and international young artists, putting emphasis on short fiction films with authenticity. The main selection is a competition short film program, while two films are screened as a part of non-competition, special program every year - one during the opening and one during the closing ceremony. The last to be screened is a Serbian debut feature film, chosen by Bašta fest team as the most successful one in the previous year. The entrance to all screenings at Bašta is free of charge, while they are always being held under the open night skies. Since the International Short film Contest Festival “Ciudad de Soria” considers at all times Short Films CINEMA in capital and appreciates as essential culture dissemination, our purpose is to promote as mean of audiovisual expression; the contribution to acknowledgment and dissemination. A celebration of erotic art
The Reel Erotic Art Film Festival, an IMDb event, aims to celebrate the erotic arts by showcasing short and feature films that are sexual in nature stemming from around the world.
We are looking to showcase films that contain graphic descriptions of sexual activity and nudity but also has a set genre, a meaningful storyline and artistic value.
We are also accepting submissions for our erotic screenplay competition.
Muestra Intergaláctica International Film Festival is a space where people can present their film projects of all kinds of genre.
It started as a small local show. Due to the response of the people and thanks to the support of sponsors, it has become an event with local, national and international projects.
The attendance to festival has increased edition after edition, initially with a unique function, however, since the edition of the year 2017, additional dates have been added, having a week long festival with local, national and international short and feature films.

The International Film Festival of the Inca Empire is an annual film festival, which extends beyond simple programming at festival dates, to bring films to the inhabitants of the Peruvian capital throughout the year.
