II Laboratory for the Development of Cinematographic Projects for Indigenous and Afro-descendant Filmmakers from Latin America. FICM - Laboratory for Indigenous and Afro-descendant Filmmakers from Latin America
The Ibero-American Work In Progress (WIP) of SANFIC Industria will hold its 14th edition from August 17–22, 2025, in Santiago, Chile. This initiative supports Ibero-American fiction and documentary films in postproduction, aiming to help them reach completion and international exposure. Submissions are open until May 26, 2025. Up to 10 projects will be selected for hybrid screenings with industry professionals. Selected films compete for awards including postproduction services, consulting, and entry into markets like MAFIZ (Málaga). SANFIC Industria stands out as a key platform for the international promotion of emerging Ibero-American cinema.

Series Lab - Sanfic
The VI SANFIC-Mórbido Lab is a development lab for Latin American horror and fantasy film projects, focusing on feature films. It will take place from August 17 to 22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industry, in partnership with Mórbido Group. The lab selects up to 6 projects to receive personalized and group mentorship from international experts. Participants will also pitch their projects to potential co-producers and distributors. The selected projects have the chance to win various prizes, including Mórbido’s funding for 20% of the budget, a Fantastic Pavilion participation at the Cannes Film Market, and other prestigious awards. The deadline to apply is May 26, 2025, and the application form is available online. This is a great opportunity for filmmakers working in the horror and fantasy genres to take their projects to the next level with expert guidance and international exposure.
