DOC:LAB is the documentary project development lab of #LINK, the Industry section of FIDBA. Aimed at Ibero-American documentary feature films in production with filmed material, it offers specialized guidance in scriptwriting, financing, production, and distribution. The program includes individual and group meetings, one-on-one sessions, conferences, and roundtables, taking place in person in Buenos Aires from October 6 to 11, 2025. Applications are open until August 15, 2025, with a fee of $50 until June 13 and $60 until June 30. Selected projects must pay $290 to participate in the lab activities, which include access to FIDBA:CAMPUS, pitchings, and festival screenings. Attendance by the director at all activities is mandatory. Winning projects will be announced on October 11 during the festival's closing ceremony.

The Animation Lab Clermont-Ferrand 2026 is aimed at international producers interested in developing and producing animated short films. The workshop will take place from January 31 to February 3, 2026 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, during the International Short Film Festival and Short Film Market. Participants are expected to arrive on January 30 and depart between February 3 and 4.
The program includes lectures from international experts, group work with production plan presentations and feedback, and one-on-one consultations with experienced group leaders. Participants will receive accreditation for the market, access to the Euro Connection co-production forum, and post-workshop benefits such as membership in the CEE Animation alumni network.
The participation fee is €250, covering tuition, festival accreditation, and lunches, but travel and accommodation are not included. The call is open to participants worldwide, with a maximum of 30% from outside the EU. The application deadline is November 14, 2025.

Animation Lab Clermont-Ferrand
The 9th Workshop for Cinematographic Projects from Central America and the Caribbean is now open to filmmakers from the region with feature-length projects in development (fiction, documentary, or hybrid). Up to 15 projects will be selected for an intensive workshop held from October 18 to 27, 2025, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Organized by Ibermedia, with support from the Honduran Film Institute (IHC) and AECID, the workshop offers expert mentoring in scriptwriting, directing, producing, and distribution. Participation is free and aimed at screenwriters, directors, and producers from Central America and the Caribbean with prior experience.

IX Workshop for Film Projects from Central America and the Caribbean
CONECTA 2025 is an international documentary industry meeting organized by CCDoc (Chilean Documentary Corporation). Its 10th edition will take place from December 9 to 12, 2025, in a hybrid format combining onsite and online activities. emerging filmmakers of legal age from Guadalajara de Buga and category 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 municipalities of Valle del Cauca, Colombia; aiming to support and strengthen cinema
regional, providing participants with the necessary tools and resources to develop and produce their own short films.
