The Spanish Film Academy opens applications for the 2025-2026 Residency Program, aimed at filmmakers developing audiovisual projects with a strong connection to Madrid.
A total of 20 projects will be selected, providing financial support, personalized mentorship from industry professionals, and a dedicated workspace at the Academy’s headquarters. Participants will also have access to training sessions and networking events organized by the Academy and Madrid City Council.
The program lasts nine months (from October 2025 to June 2026) and is open to both Spanish and international creators.

The Short Film Lab is a training program dedicated to the distribution of short films.
Virtual and free, it is aimed at Spanish-speaking independent producers and producers.

The International Residency in Cinematography for Film is a space designed to promote creativity and the practice of technical skills of students in the atmosphere of digital filmmaking. This environment will allow them to acquire new knowledge while being guided by specialized teachers in photography direction.
