The SMOF Lab 2025 call is open from March 4 to April 4, 2025. Organized by Stop Motion Our Fest (SMOF), the lab will take place from June 26 to 29 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is aimed at Latin American stop motion short film and series projects in development. The goal is to support emerging animation productions through training, mentoring, and industry networking. Selected projects will participate in pitching sessions, expert consultations, and intensive workshops. Participation is free but requires prior registration.

The Havana Film Festival, as part of its space dedicated to the film and audiovisual industry, created the Coral Award for Post Production, (hereinafter THE AWARD) with the essential objective of contributing to the completion of fiction feature films. , documentary or animation, made in Latin America, and that require technical resources in the post-production stage.

POST PRODUCTION CHORAL AWARD
The CIBEF International Screenwriting Residency 2025 will take place in Lima, Peru, from May 27 to June 7, 2025. This program is aimed at emerging screenwriters from Ibero-America who wish to develop their original feature film fiction scripts. Applicants must be over 18 years old and proficient in Spanish. The residency offers a comprehensive experience, including workshops, masterclasses, one-on-one mentoring, and a final project pitch. To apply, participants must submit a motivational letter, biofilmography, a script synopsis, and a script outline. The cost for international participants is $1,750 USD, while Peruvian participants pay $1,500 USD. The program lasts two weeks and covers accommodation, meals, transportation, health insurance, and post-program mentoring. The application period is from April 1 to May 13, 2025.
