The Center for Cinema and Creation (CCC) in Chile and Cineka, The Place Where Stories Happen, in Mexico, through Grupo SURA, aims to contribute to the development and consolidation of the work undertaken by civil society groups and collectives in building collaborative spaces through audiovisual exhibition. They invite individuals representing collectives, groups, and independent organizations to participate in the First Collaborative Cinema Meeting, a call for projects focused on independent audiovisual exhibition to be developed and practiced in the Latin America and Caribbean region, seeking to build community around cinema.

Collaborative Cinema Meeting							
													The International School of Film and Television (EICTV) offers a Master’s in Fiction Film for the 2025–2028 period, aimed at filmmakers interested in developing feature film projects in a creative and professional environment. The program combines technical and artistic training, including a creative lab called FICCLAB, where students develop their films with guidance from specialized filmmakers, creating scripts, production design, and exploring cinematic language.
Six students will be selected for the program, which includes in-person training in Cuba and online components. The program runs from February 2 to September 25, 2026, with a fee of 9,000 euros and a diploma issued by EICTV, recognized by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Applicants must submit a motivation letter of up to three pages explaining their project and motivations, along with a portfolio of previous work. The application deadline is October 20, 2025, and the program seeks candidates aged 22 to 30 who wish to advance in feature film development in an international and creative setting.

La convocatoria está abierta a profesionales del cine interesados en exhibir, financiar o vender proyectos cinematográficos. Es una oportunidad para ampliar redes, obtener visibilidad internacional y conocer las tendencias del mercado independiente. Chile Short - Market							
													This program is aimed at filmmakers who are seeking to achieve the final cut of their fiction or documentary work, defining the authorial vision and point of view, which will allow them to begin the post-production stage of the project. It is essential that the project includes the presence of the editor.
During the BioBioCine Meetings, the methodology is tailored to the specific needs of each project, with guidance from mentors with recognized international experience. The work will be conducted through daily individual sessions in a virtual editing room. Participants will also have the opportunity to present a 3-minute pitch to industry guests. Up to 4 projects will be selected.
