The International Residency in Film Production is conceived as an academic and professional immersion experience focused on film production.
The Industry Academy Chile is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, designed to foster innovation among young professionals in the film industry. The program focuses on key areas such as distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
This program is developed in collaboration with SANFIC (Santiago International Film Festival) in Chile, with the goal of providing participants with practical and strategic tools to strengthen their skills in the audiovisual industry. The Industry Academy Chile takes place within the framework of SANFIC, a major platform for independent Latin American and global cinema.
Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to attend masterclasses, workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking activities, which allow them to expand their contacts and strengthen their presence in the international market. Additionally, the selected participants receive training on essential industry aspects, such as the development and commercialization of film projects, international distribution, and the dynamics of film festivals.

The program takes place within the framework of BrLab, a renowned event in Brazil dedicated to the training, development, and support of the audiovisual industry in Latin America. BrLab is a key space for cinema professionals seeking to improve their projects, gain knowledge about the global industry, and strengthen their network of contacts. During the program, participants have the opportunity to engage in workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking activities, focusing on key aspects such as the internationalization and distribution of film projects, as well as financing and marketing strategy.

Industry Academy Brasil
The Huesca International Film Festival launches the first edition of Pitching HIFF, a call for emerging filmmakers residing in Spain with short films in development (not completed). The aim is to connect new talent with producers interested in supporting short films. Projects can be fiction, documentary, non-fiction, or animation, up to 30 minutes long. Submission is free via Festhome until May 6, 2025.
Selected projects will be presented in a pitching session (10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) on June 11, 2025, either in person or online, during HIFF’s 53rd edition. Required materials include a dossier, CV, director’s statement, and script or treatment. Selected projects receive a diploma and exposure to producers.

PITCHING - Festival Internacional De Cine De Huesca
Founded in 1990, sunny side of the doc marketplace has become the leading international industry event for co-production funding and circulating completed programmes, for linear documentaries as well as digital and immersive experiences. Over the years, Sunny Side has aligned its offer and activities to meet the industry's expectations, realities and needs. Therefore, Sunny Side has introduced complementary events and activities to its annual core market, such as: Asian Side of the Doc (since 2010), Latin Side of the Doc, Sunny Lab (from 2014 to 2017), PiXii Festival (since 2017), Global Pitch (since 2020), Projects Observatory (since 2020), as well as webinars, case studies and training sessions each year with leading experts.
