OFFICIAL CATEGORIES — CINEMODAE
CINEMODAE’s official categories recognize diverse ways of exploring fashion through imagery, cinema, creative direction, and visual storytelling.
Each category celebrates a distinct approach to the world of fashion, placing particular emphasis on originality of concept, aesthetic development, art direction, audiovisual execution, and the ability to transform an idea into a memorable visual experience.
MAIN CATEGORIES
Each category highlights a different approach to visual creativity and storytelling. All share the same fundamental principle: the conceptual strength of the work and the central role fashion plays within it.
I · FASHION

* Designer Fashion and Haute Couture
Garments and collections rooted in couture, tailoring, or designer-led fashion, where the construction of the garment lies at the heart of the narrative.

* Emerging and Contemporary Brands
Audiovisual presentations of prêt-à-porter collections, streetwear, or independent brands with a distinctive aesthetic identity. Includes accessories, jewelry, and footwear brands.
Example: The launch of an emerging brand’s capsule collection told as a short film.

* Music and Performance-Inspired
Works inspired by musical genres, artists, lyrics, music videos, or musical performances.
